Wood Brothers Homes is a family company in Louisville, Colorado. We design and build custom homes across Boulder County and the Front Range, and we have been doing it the same way since 2009.
The Wood family has been building in Colorado for three generations. It began with Justin, Jerod, and David's grandfather and great-uncle, working the way builders worked then, with their own hands and their own name on the line.
Justin founded Wood Brothers Homes in 2009, and his brothers joined him. Between the three of them there are more than seventy years of experience, and nearly all of it was learned the same way their grandfather learned it. On job sites, from family.

That sounds simple, and it rules out a great deal. It means we turn down work that does not fit. It means we build to fire-resistant and energy standards past what the code asks for, because the code is a floor and this county has already shown us what happens at the floor. And it means we would rather tell you the truth about your budget early than win the job and manage your disappointment later.
Honesty and integrity build houses. The rest is finish work.
The estimate we hand you is the estimate we believe. We do not buy a job with a low number and recover it through change orders. When we get something wrong, we say so and we fix it.
Line-item budgets, allowances set at real numbers, and subcontractor bids you are welcome to look at. You should always be able to see where your money is going and why.
Three generations of it. It shows up in the parts of a house nobody photographs: framing that is square, flashing that is correct, and a punch list handled before anyone hands you the keys.
Not the lowest price. The best house for the money you have. Those are different things, and confusing them is how people end up disappointed on both counts.
We rebuilt 43 homes after the Marshall Fire. Since then, fire-resistant construction and real energy performance are standard on everything we build, never upgrades we sell you.
Ours is in this business together. Yours is the reason the business exists. We have never found a good argument for treating a client's home as anything less than we would treat our own.
Our office is in downtown Louisville, a few blocks from homes we have built and a few miles from most of the ones we are building now. We are here weekdays from nine to five, and we would rather meet you in person than trade emails.
We build across Boulder County and along the Front Range, from Castle Rock to Fort Collins and east toward Brighton.
